Ahlers & Associates is a locally owned corporation serving Indiana businesses for over 45 years. Founded by Robert Ahlers, Sr. in 1966, our objective is to assist our clients in making the best decisions regarding their employee benefit plans.

We understand that each client is unique and has different needs and concerns for their employee benefit plans. They need to implement a plan that matches their needs both in terms of cost as well as benefit levels. At Ahlers & Associates, we are prepared to work with you to structure and select the benefit plan that best matches your needs, expectations and budget. 

We work closely with you to design and maintain a wide variety of insurance plans, including health, life, dental, long and short term disability, vision, and assist in COBRA, HIPPA, ERISA, cafeteria IRC section 125 plans and other human resource issues. We review current benefits and make recommendations for any alternative plan benefits and help determine the need for key employee life and disability insurance, buy-sell, deferred compensation, split dollar and retirement plans (both qualified and non-qualified). We can implement both employer sponsored and voluntary payroll deduction plans.

We are proactive in educating clients on the latest laws and requirements pertaining to Healthcare Reform legislation. We provide timelines and guidance on how the new healthcare laws will impact large and small employers and give direction on how to stay compliant
